For many of us, our lives took a dramatic change with the effects of the COVID-19 virus. A lot of stores have shut down, dining-in has stopped, and sports are on hold. Many years ago, I started planning for my staff to be able to operate remotely in a disaster situation. At the time, I thought it would be tornadoes, certainly not pandemics. When the stay-at-home order was announced, my staff was ready to go. They are now working from home with a little help from Microsoft Teams, Office 365 and Windows Virtual Desktop.
Due to travel restrictions and social distancing, many businesses are struggling to reach their customers. But we are incredibly fortunate to have internet access. Users who are sheltering at home are turning to the internet for information, work, purchasing, and entertainment. With such a high volume of traffic running through the internet, your website is more important now than ever.
